About the Owner
Primary & Urgent Care South in Warrior, Alabama, is owned by our President, Michael T. Patton, D.O. FACOI, Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician. He graduated from the University of Health Science-COM in Kansas City, Missouri, or the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He completed his internship at Carraway Methodist Medical Center, and his residency at Sun Coast Hospital in Largo, Florida, which is an affiliate of Nova Southeastern.
Since his certification, Dr. Michael Patton has worked under four different practices:
- Veterans Administration Hospital at Bay Pines in Bay Pines, Florida
- Internal Medicine Of Shelby, P.C. in Birmingham, Alabama
- Narrows Health and Wellness in Birmingham, Alabama
- Urgent Care South, Inc. in Warrior, Alabama
Office Manager Mendi Patton, RN CMOM, Certified Medical Office Manager. She helps us with management, budgeting, employee and staff management, and following our federal guidelines.

Primary & Urgent Care South provides both urgent care and internal medicine practice in one convenient location, allowing you to keep your care in one practice. Our practice is open to all patients, and you’re welcome to make an appointment or walk in whenever you’re feeling under the weather.

We’ve been serving the local area as Primary & Urgent Care South since 2012, and Dr. Michael T. Patton has been a physician since 2000, so you know you’re in good hands.
